HST to EST converter
Eastern time is 6 hours ahead of Hawaii time in summer and 5 hours ahead of it in winter.
Right now it's in Honolulu (HST) and in New York (ET).
How to convert
To convert HST to ET, add 6 hours while the US is on daylight saving time (March to early November) and add 5 hours the rest of the year.
Hawaii doesn't use daylight saving time, so the gap to the mainland changes when the mainland changes its clocks.
