Questions people ask
How do I make the clock full screen?
Press the Full screen button under the clock or the F key. Press F or Esc to leave. On an iPhone the clock fills the browser window; for a cleaner view, add the page to your home screen with Share, then Add to Home Screen.
How do I keep the screen from turning off?
Press Keep screen on. Most current browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari 16.4+) honour it while the page is visible. If yours doesn't, change your computer's power settings or plug the device in.
Can I put the clock on a TV?
Yes. Open onlineclock.app in the TV's browser, or cast a Chrome tab from your computer, then press Full screen. The digits scale to fill any screen.
Does full screen use a lot of power?
No. The page updates once a second and does no other work. The screen itself uses far more power than the clock.
