Pomodoro timer
Work in 25-minute focus blocks with short breaks in between. The timer moves from focus to break on its own.
How a Pomodoro cycle works
- Focus on one task for 25 minutes.
- Take a 5-minute break.
- Repeat. After four focus blocks, take a 15-minute break.
Press Space to start or pause. Want a plain countdown? Use the timer.
Questions people ask
What is the Pomodoro technique?
You work in focused blocks (usually 25 minutes), take a 5-minute break after each, and a longer 15–30 minute break after every four blocks.
Can I change the lengths?
Yes. Set the focus, short break and long break minutes, and how many rounds come before a long break. Your settings are saved.
Does it switch automatically?
Yes. A chime marks the end of each focus block and a bell marks the end of each break, and the next phase starts right away.
