Online clock
onlineclock.app is a free online clock that shows the exact time to the second, checked against internet time servers. A big, accurate clock for any screen. It checks your device against internet time and tells you how far off it is. Free, no account, no download. Press F for full screen, and open Settings (the gear icon, or press S) to pick a clock face, theme, font or background photo.
What people use it for
- A clock on a second monitor. Open this page on the spare screen and press F. See how to set it up.
- A bigger clock than the Windows taskbar. Here's how to keep it open on Windows.
- A bedside or kitchen clock on an old tablet. Use Full screen so the screen stays awake. The Paper color (black on white) is the easiest to read.
- The time during a presentation, exam or livestream. Share the window or put it on a projector.

Questions people ask
Is this clock accurate?
It starts from your device's clock, which phones and computers keep in sync with internet time servers. The page also checks your clock against Cloudflare's time servers, and if your device is off it shows the corrected time and tells you by how much. How we get the time.
How do I make the clock full screen?
Press the Full screen button under the clock, or press F on your keyboard. Press Esc to leave full screen. The buttons fade away after a few seconds so only the time is on screen.
Can I keep my screen from turning off?
Yes. Press Full screen: while the clock is full screen, the page asks your device to keep the screen on (the Keep screen awake in full screen setting, on by default). It works in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, though battery saver or your device's own settings can still turn the screen off.
How do I switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time?
Open Settings (the gear icon) and switch 12-hour. When it's off, the clock shows 24-hour (military) time. Your choice is saved for next time.
Can I see the time in my browser tab?
Open Settings (the gear icon) and turn on Time in tab. The tab title then shows the live time, so you can check it from any other tab.
Can I change the clock to an analog face?
Yes. Open Settings (the gear icon) and choose from 15 clock faces, 18 color themes and more than 20 photo backgrounds, from analog watch faces and a flip clock to a car speedometer or ship's clock, or paint your own in any colors. You can always go back to the standard digital clock. The site remembers your choice on that device.
Does it work on a phone or an old tablet?
Yes. Turn the device sideways, tap Full screen, which also keeps the screen awake, and you have a large bedside or desk clock. See our guide on turning a tablet into a big clock.
