Questions people ask
Will the timer keep going if I switch tabs?
Yes. It counts toward a fixed end time, so it stays exact in a background tab, and the tab title shows the time left.
Why didn't I hear the alarm?
Browsers only play sound after you've clicked something on the page, so start the timer with a click or tap. Also check that the tab and your device aren't muted.
Can I link straight to a timer length?
Yes. Add the length to the address, like onlineclock.app/timer/#10m or #1h30m or #90s. There are also ready-made pages such as the 5 minute timer.
What are the keyboard shortcuts?
Space starts or pauses, R resets, and F goes full screen.
