Questions people ask
How do I see the time in a country from its flag?
Click or tap any flag. A panel opens with the current time and date there, its time zone and UTC offset, how far ahead or behind you it is, and, for big countries, the time in each of its time zones.
Which country has the most time zones?
France, with 12 when you count its overseas territories, from French Polynesia to New Caledonia. Russia has 11 time zones, the most of any single landmass country; the United States has 11 counting its territories, 6 in the 50 states.
Why are some flags here that aren't countries?
The list includes territories that have their own flag and time, like Puerto Rico, Greenland or Hong Kong, because people look up their time too.
Can I share a country?
Yes. When a country is open, the page address ends with its two-letter code, like #jp for Japan. Copy the address to share it.
