MST – Mountain Standard Time
MST is UTC−7.
Mountain Standard Time is used in the US Mountain region (Denver, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque) in winter, and all year in most of Arizona (Phoenix). Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton) stopped changing clocks in 2026 and now stays on UTC−6 all year.
In summer, places on MST switch to MDT (Mountain Daylight Time, UTC−6). People often keep saying “MST” all year, but strictly it's only correct in the standard-time months.
