What is a digital planner?
"Digital planner" means two things. Sometimes it's a PDF planner with clickable tabs that you write in by hand on a tablet, in an app like GoodNotes. More often, it's a planning app that keeps your schedule, tasks and notes in one place. This page is the second kind, kept as simple as a paper planner.

How to choose a digital planner
- Do you like handwriting? Choose a tablet and a note app with a PDF planner (GoodNotes and similar).
- Mostly tasks? A task manager (Todoist, TickTick, Microsoft To Do).
- Mostly your calendar? Time block in Google or Outlook Calendar; the time block planner can export straight to them.
- Want everything in one custom system? Notion.
- Just need today on one page? Use the planner above. It's free, works offline once loaded, and prints.
Tips for using a daily planner
- Fill it in the evening before, or first thing in the morning before email.
- Keep the top 3 truly important; everything else goes on the to-do list.
- Put your top priority in the schedule as a real time block.
- Review at day's end: tick what's done, move the rest to tomorrow.
